‘Pride Prejudice And Zombies’ Launches New Kick-Ass Trailer

I should never relinquish my sword for a ring!

Jane Austin has undergone the zombie treatment in recent years.

A couple of years back we saw the release of the novel ‘Pride Prejudice And Zombies’, which recast some of Austin’s most iconic characters as kick-Ass Lady Zombie Hunters.

Next year will see the release of the movie adaptation of the book, which along with novels like ‘Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter’ and ‘Queen Victoria: Demon Hunter’ raised a few eyebrows and amused genre fans a couple of years back with their revisionist fantastical slant on history.

The trailer shows off some of the action, but also shows off some of the fantastic dialogue with lines such as, “I should never relinquish my sword for a ring.”

From the little have seen of the film. It looks to be a fantastic mishmash of classic Austin with the petrified undead. Many Austin purist may not like this movie, but I think that it could be a good thing because it might just wind up finding a new audience for Jane Austin’s books, but even if it doesn’t. It will most likely be jolly good fun.

‘Pride Prejudice And Zombies’ Stars Lily James, Sam Riley, Jack Huston, Bella Heathcote, Douglas Booth and Suki Waterhouse.

The film will hit UK cinemas in February of 2016.
