Oliva Munn The Latest To Snag A Role In ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’

In the comics Pyslocke is know to possess telekinetic and telepathic abilities

‘The Newsroom’ actress Olivia Munn is the latest addition to Bryan Singer’s next comic book feature ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’.

Munn, who at one point was a fan favorite for the role of Wonder Woman has been cast as the mutant Psylocke opposite X-Men veterans Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender.

In the comics Pyslocke is know to possess telekinetic and telepathic abilities, and has been a stable of the Marvel Comics series dating back to 1976.

Munn has previous form in comic book movies having played reporter Chess Roberts in ‘Iron Man 2’.

Bryan Singer broke the news about Munn’s casting earlier in the week via his Twitter feed.
