New Force Awakens Images

Just one more week until Star Wars debuts!

Like many others of my generation, I have been a fan of Star Wars ever since I watched Episode IV, ‘A New Hope’ way back in 1977 as a kid. It is quite exciting and somewhat introspective to think that in just one weeks time, myself and my padawans, along with millions of loyal fans will watch an entirely new chapter of the Star Wars legacy and saga unfold before our eyes and imaginations for the very first time.

Knowing how ravenous Star Wars fans like myself are, the producers of ‘The Force Awakens’ have just released several new images from the upcoming and much anticipated film, as well as some behind the scenes photos for the legions of fans to devour.

Both the new cast and members of the original cast can be seen as they shall appear in Episode VII, The Force Awakens. While the images do not really give away any new spoilers, they do flesh out The Force Awakens imagery already released to the public.

Of all of the images however, the most fun features Rey (Daisey Ridley) sitting pensively in the shade of an Imperial Walker’s massive and discarded leg. It is quite reminiscent of Luke Skywalker on the dunes of Tatooine looking off into the sunset as he thinks about his place in the universe.

Enjoy the film as if you were a child, May The force Be With You and hang on for what is sure to be one heck of a galactic thrill ride!
