Netflix US To Lose ‘Doctor Who’ And Other BBC Shows

From January 31, American users will no longer be able to stream most of the BBC's programmes.

American users of Netflix have been given the bad news this week that they will be losing the chance to view ‘Doctor Who’ and other top quality BBC shows on the American Netflix Video On Demand service.

From January 31, American users will no longer be able to stream most of the BBC’s programmes.

Among the most popular shows that will go are ‘Doctor Who,’ ‘Luther,’ ‘Top Gear,’ ‘Fawlty Towers‘ and ‘Blackadder‘.
This change will not effect Netflix subscribers here in the UK.
American Doctor Who fans have already launched an online petition to save the show from the cull.
