Negan Could Soon Feature In Episodes Of ‘The Walking Dead’

Andrew Lincoln teased the possibility of the comic book villain joining the series in the near future.

The character of Negan could be crossing over from ‘The Walking Dead’ comic book into the television series.

In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter Andrew Lincoln teased the possibility of the comic book villain joining the series in the near future.

Lincoln said he “would be very surprised” if the character of Negan didn’t appear in the “not-so-distant future”.

With the series having recent changed location to Alexandria, fans have started to speculate that Negan may be about to pose a threat to Rick (Lincoln) and the group.

“There are astonishingly brilliant and thrilling characters that I am convinced we would be idiots not to meet in our journey; I would be very surprised if we don’t see Negan on the horizon in the not-too-distant future.”

Negan is the leader of a group known as the Saviours, who are known for using torture to maintain control of their colonies.

The Walking Dead airs on AMC in the US and on FOX in the UK.
