It would seem that the terribly over-bloated ‘Torchwood: Miracle Day’ hasn’t quite managed to kill interest in the popular ‘Doctor Who’ spin-off, which starred John Barrowman as the any hole will do space age plumber Captain Jack Harkness.
During the recent TCA Winter Press Tour Barrowman revealed that ‘Torchwood’ isn’t quite dead yet and that plans are in the works for more audio drama’s via the BBC.
“I do know that we’re doing three or four radio plays for the BBC for ‘Torchwood,'” Barrowman said. “My sister and I are discussing the possibility of writing one of them and whether or not that leads to something [on TV] … But I’m full-time with ‘Arrow’ now. It’s not a question of me not wanting to do it, it’s a question of the BBC wanting to do it or others wanting to do ‘Torchwood.’ I know the fans are out there so I think they’d be silly not to.”
The actor, singer and writer added that he knows four drama’s are in development, but nothing has been recorded as of yet.
