Michelle Gomez has hinted that Missy could be returning for the 10th and Steven Moffat’s final season of ‘Doctor Who’.
A tweet from fan account Doctor Who News has claimed that Gomez announced her comeback at the MegaCon fan convention in Orlando, Florida.

Digital Spy reached out to the BBC to get confirmation of this, but were told that it is to early to comment. As to what that means as yet remains to be seen.
Gomez last appeared as Missy – formerly known as The Master – in last year’s ninth series opener ‘The Magician’s Apprentice / The Witch’s Familiar’.
Gomez was nominated for a BAFTA for her performance, but lost out to ‘This Is England ’90‘s’ Chanel Cresswell.
As somewhat a fan of Doctor Who and someone who was initially dubious about the gender bending Missy. I personally can’t wait to see what will happen when she does return. I can only hope that she gets to be a credible threat the next time out as opposed to just somewhat of a nuisance.
Doctor Who will return to BBC One this Christmas, with a full series to follow next year.
