So many marvelous tidbits during the week when the biggest revelation was the smart ‘Agent Carter‘ series, which in itself is replete with Marvel Comics lore. But before the series gets too heavily into Leviathan and Hydra hijinks, the other stories, big and small, must be told.

 The following contains spoilers.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

‘Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ has just added Edward James Olmos (‘Battlestar Galactica,’ ‘Blade Runner’) to its roster. Olmos will play Robert Gonzales, whose debut this spring in AoS will have massive repercussions for Director Coulson and his team.

“Edward James Olmos brings an amazing gravitas to any role he inhabits, something we knew we needed for Robert Gonzales,” said Executive Producer and Head of Marvel Television, Jeph Loeb.  “When Olmos first appears on our series, everyone will have to take notice–including our favorite Agents.”

So say we all!

In the meantime, rumors abound that another Avenger may be headed for AoS. Jeremy Renner was seen suiting up as Hawkeye this week. Renner posted a rather intriguing message on his Whosay account.

“Tues morn. I find myself in costume again. I just can’t tell you why. And it still fits! #marvel #avengers #hawkeye”

Speculation is that it’s for AoS, because there is one mysterious plot going on involving Bobbi Morse/Mockingbird, who is Hawkeye’s ex-wife in the comics.

Also, Agent Melinda May, herself, in the guise of Ming-Na Wen, confirmed that AoS started shooting again this week.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns on Tuesday, March 3 at 9:00 p.m. ET on ABC.

Daredevil

‘Marvel’s Daredevil’ has been given a release date! All 13 episodes will be released simultaneously on Friday, April 10.

Ant-Man

Christophe Beck, best known among Joss Whedon fans for scoring episodes of ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ from Seasons 1 – 5, has been hired to score the film ‘Ant-Man.‘ The film will be released in the US on July 17, 2015.

Speaking of which, the first official trailer of Ant-Man aired during the premiere of the excellent ‘Marvel’s Agent Carter.‘
