Agent Carter

Kurtwood Smith (‘Resurrection,’ ‘That ‘70s Show’) will join the cast of ‘Agent Carter’ when it returns in 2016.

Smith will play Vernon Masters, a veteran of the War Department with a keen understanding of how to work the system.

“We had the pleasure of working with Kurtwood on both ‘Resurrection’ and ‘Chaos,’ and were well aware of what a commanding presence he is,” said Executive Producers Tara Butters, Chris Dingess and Michele Fazekas. “So when we were developing the character of Vernon Masters, we wrote it with him in mind. We just never thought we could actually get him. Thankfully, we were wrong.”

Ant-Man and The Wasp

Marvel is in negotiations with Peyton Reed to return as director of ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp,’ starring Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly.

Thor: Ragnarok

‘Thor: Ragnarok’ will be filmed in Australia with the Turnbull government offering Hollywood studios $47 million in grants to lure in blockbusters.

Thor himself, Chris Hemworth, who is an Australian actor, did a video presentation as part of his government’s announcement. In it he said he was “incredibly excited to be coming back home to work.”
