Marvel Releases Clip from ‘Agent Carter’

On Tuesday night’s special, ‘Marvel: 75 Years, From Pulp to Pop!’ Marvel released a brief glimpse of ‘Ant-Man,’ which you could miss simply by inhaling. The more significant new reveal was a nice clip from ‘Agent Carter,’ featuring Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter, Dominic Cooper as Howard Stark, and James D’Arcy as Edwin Jarvis.


Agent Carter Adds Nikita Alum

Former ‘Nikita’ agent Lyndsy Fonseca has joined the cast of Agent Carter.

Marvel.com reports that Fonseca will play Angie Martinelli, an aspiring actress who will befriend Peggy Carter.


Peggy Carter returns on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.



Peggy Carter returns to “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” with a special guest appearance in “The Things We Bury,” the second season’s eighth episode. Coulson and team find themselves in a face-off against Hydra to uncover an ancient secret, while Ward kidnaps his brother, Senator Christian Ward, for a violent trip down memory lane.

ABC has scheduled the ‘Agents of SHIELD’ fall finale date for December 9th. They have also announced that Agent Carter will start on January 6th, with AoS returning on March 3rd. Both will keep airing in the current 9 pm time slot.


Idris Elba Reveals Heimdall and Loki Will Appear in ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’

An casting tidbit for ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ has surfaced when ‘Thor’ star Idris Elba said he will appear as Heimdall alongside Tom Hiddleston as Loki in the next chapter of the film series.

“I’m in Avengers,” Elba revealed, “And I’m doing a scene with Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston, and they’re like, [whispers] – ‘Aren’t you [meant to be] in Ibiza?'”

When asked about Elba’s unplanned reveal, AoU writer/director Joss Whedon responded “Yeah, when you have a cast of 19,000 people, inevitably, once every month, you pick up [a story] and you’re like, ‘Awww.'”
