Martin Freeman Joins Cast Of ‘Captain America: Civil War’

Martin Freeman, who is best known to genre fans for his roles in 'Sherlock' and 'The Hobbit' trilogy has snagged himself a role in the third Captain America film, which is officially titled 'Captain America: Civil War'.

Martin Freeman, who is best known to genre fans for his roles in ‘Sherlock’ and ‘The Hobbit’ trilogy has snagged himself a role in the third Captain America film, which is officially titled ‘Captain America: Civil War’.

At present it is unknown what role he will play, but he will be a fantastic and fun addition to the cast that most fans will be nodding in approval of.

At present not a great deal is known about ‘Civil War’ other than the fact that it is set directly after ‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron’ and pretty much includes a great many of Marvels most iconic comic book characters in its cast.

‘Captain America: Civil War’ is to be written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeeley, who also wrote Captain America: The First Avenger, Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Agent Carter, and are slated to pen both parts of ‘Avengers: Infinity War’.

Captain America: Civil War slingshots into theaters on May 6th, 2016.
