Martin Freeman has dropped some fresh hints about his role in ‘Captain America: Civil War’.

The actor who is best known for his roles in ‘The Office’, ‘Sherlock’, ‘Fargo’ and the recent ‘Hobbit’ trilogy snagged a role in the film earlier this year, but details of his character in the film have been next to none existent.

Speaking to BadTaste at Giffoni 2015, Freeman teased: “He works for the American government.

“He works in conjunction with the superheroes and certain agencies that help to tame the superheroes’ power. You’re not quite sure which side he’s on. It looks a little bit like he’s playing one game, when he’s playing another.

“It’s the kind of character I like because he’s ambiguous and because you don’t know whether he’s good or bad. And I like that area which isn’t black or white.

“I like the greys, because there’s more fun to be had in not playing one obvious line.”

Freeman also revealed that his accent will be “East Coast America”.

It opens on April 29, 2016 in the UK and on May 6, 2016 in the US.
