Lone Gunmen Returning For ‘The X-Files’ Reboot

Tom Braidwood, Dean Haglund, and Bruce Harwood (aka the Lone Gunmen) are set to appear in at least one episode of the revival.

I’m not to sure how they are going to do this given that they were pretty much written out in the shows final season, but it looks like ‘The Lone Gunmen’ are to make a return in the revived limited ‘X-Files’ series.

According to TV Line Tom Braidwood, Dean Haglund, and Bruce Harwood (aka the Lone Gunmen) are set to appear in at least one episode of the revival, despite the fact that their characters were — spoiler alert! — killed off in the show’s ninth season.

Haglund was the one who revealed the new via his twitter feed.

The popular trio had a short lived series ‘The Lone Gunmen’ in 2001.

Other X-Files favorites returning for the revival include Walter Skinner (Mitch Pileggi) and the cigarette-smoking man (William B. Davis).

Someone who will not be returning is Robert Patrick who has recently said that his character of Agent Doggett will not return.

New footage of ‘The X-Files’ revival will be aired later tonight during the season finale of ‘Wayward Pines’ on Fox.
