Bradley Cooper’s spin-off series ‘Limitless’, which was spun off from the movie of the same name has been given a full season commitment from CBS.
Cooper serves as an executive producer on the series and his film character Senator Eddie Morra features in a recurring role to further the storyline for the new leading man, Jake McDorman.
McDorman stars as Brian Finch, a slacker musician who is forced into solving cases for the FBI using enhanced abilities acquired from taking the mysterious NZT drug.
“We’re excited how Limitless continues to evolve creatively each week and stand out with its unique style of storyelling,” Glenn Geller, CBS Entertainment President, said in a statement. “It’s off to a strong start in a highly competitive environment.”
Also starring in the series is ‘Dexter’s’ Jennifer Carpenter, Hill Harper and Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio.
Sky Living has recently picked up the show in the UK, though no premiere date has been set.
Limitless airs Tuesdays at 10pm ET on CBS in the US.
