‘Jurassic World’ Scores Monster Box Office

‘Jurassic World’ has obliterated box office records with an opening weekend by taking $511.8m worldwide, achieving the highest global opening of all time.

The dinosaur movie managed an impressive $204.6m in the US, giving it the second biggest Hollywood opening in history after The Avengers’ $207.4m in 2012.

These box office takings bode well for any potential sequels and if those sequels do get made. Chris Pratt has revealed that he is contracted to do more Jurassic movies.
