Joel McHale Joins Cast Of ‘X-Files’ Revival

The actor is to play the anchor of a conservative news network who becomes a surprising ally for Agent Mulder (David Duchovny).

‘Community’ star Joel McHale has nabbed himself a neat little role in the forthcoming ‘X-Files’ revival.

The actor is to play the anchor of a conservative news network who becomes a surprising ally for Agent Mulder (David Duchovny).

It isn’t currently known how many of the six episodes that McHale will appear in, but it will be interesting to see how his role plays out once the series returns.

Duchovny is returning to the role of Mulder after an eight-year absence alongside fellow ‘X-Files’ stars Gillian Anderson and Mitch Pileggi.
Fox will air the revival of ‘The X-Files’ next year.
