When Hayley Atwell makes her television debut as ‘Agent Carter’ in the new Marvel television series, which will premier at midseason. She will be in very good hands.

At the recent SDCC it was revealed that directors Joe and Anthony Russo had been chosen to helm a few of the new shows episodes.

For those not in the know. It was the two Russo siblings that did such an awesome job on Directing this years hit movie ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’.

The Russo’s will helm the second and third episodes of the series, while ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’ director Joe Johnston is set for the fourth.

D’Esposito, who directed the ‘Marvel One-Shot: Agent Carter’ short for the “Iron Man 3″ Blu-ray, will helm the pilot, penned by “The First Avenger” screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.

Set in 1946 ‘Agent Carter’ centres on Peggy Carter, who must balance her routine office job at the Strategic Scientific Reserve with her secret work as an operative for Howard Stark.
