Jo-Ann’s fabric stores now catering to cosplayers

Mainstream retailer recognizes that the buying power and force of cosplayers is most impressive!

The Tech-Times has recently reported Jo-Ann’s Fabrics stores have indeed taken notice of the Cosplaying market and plans to begin catering specifically to cosplayers on a nationwide scale next year, as Jo-Ann’s stores will be partnering with Cosplay Fabrics and a very well known cosplayer, Yaya Han to create as she has put it, “… new line of specialty fabrics that will make it even easier for creative cosplayers to realize their dreams.

It seems that all of those hard to find including 4-way stretch spandex in an assortment of colors, along with fabrics with both synthetic leather coatings and foil, as well as brocade and even tightly woven fabrics, used for many varieties of corsets.

It would seem that with the rising popularity and marketability of cosplay, Jo-Ann’s may be right on the money in targeting such a niche market. Being an early innovator within cosplaying circles, Han’s instincts also lead her to the same conclusion, “This new line from Cosplay Fabrics represents a paradigm shift in the world of cosplay. Dressing up and creating your own fandom at events like Comic Con in San Diego and New York has really gone mainstream in the last few years. Now it will be even easier for everyone to make their own costumes and create their own fandom!”

Cosplaying enthusiasts can expect to see cosplaying supplies and materials from Cosplay Fabric nationwide in Jo-Ann’s Fabrics by Spring of 2016.
