Last week it was widely reported that shooting had been delayed on the hit comedies latest season.
The reason was because of ongoing contract negotiations for the shows three main leads Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki and Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting.
Thankfully the negotiations have been resolved and the three actors have returned to work for a reported 1 Million Dollars per episode for the 72 episodes that CBS will air across the next three years, according to Deadline.
Their new deals are expected to include increased ownership of the show, production deals and advances among other bonuses.
Parsons, Galecki and Cuoco are thought to be in line to earn at least $90m each in total over the next three seasons.
Supporting actors Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar – who play Howard and Raj – are the last remaining cast members still to sign contracts. Both actors, who in many ways are just as important as the shows three leads are reportedly seeking deals of a similar level to the shows three leads.
Season eight of the CBS show is expected to start production on Wednesday (August 6), a week behind its original schedule.
