Jesse Eisenberg Promises a complicated Lex Luther for ‘Batman Vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice’

"There are some indications of how the character should behave based on the script, and then an actor makes it his or her own," he explained.

Jesse Eisenberg has promised that we’ll see a complex take on Lex Luther when we see him in the forthcoming ‘Batman Vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice.’

While speaking to Total Film the actor who impressed us with his portrayal of Mark Zuckerberg in ‘The Social Network’ discussed his approach to playing a role that has been done by the likes of Gene Hackman and Kevin Spacey.

“There are some indications of how the character should behave based on the script, and then an actor makes it his or her own,” he explained.

Eisenberg went on to say: “I got to know one of the writers Chris Terrio, and we were able to discuss things at length and figure out who this person is to create a real psychology behind what is, perhaps, in a comic book, a less than totally modern psychology.

“I can only say I’ve been asked to play an interesting role. A complicated, challenging person.”

Warner Bros Pictures will release Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice on March 25, 2016 in the UK and the US.
