Jar Jar Binks May Get Killed Off In ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’

J.J. Abrams has revealed that Jar Jar Binks, the single greatest irritant of George Lucas’s ‘Star Wars’ prequel trilogy could be killed off in a blink and you miss it scene on the new movie.

In his interview with Vanity Fair Abrams jokingly shared in the fan point of view when it comes to the Gungan, who probably will not get to scream the words, “Me sir gonna die.”

“I have a thought about putting Jar Jar Binks’s bones in the desert there,” he said. “I’m serious! Only three people will notice, but they’ll love it.”

The character of Jar Jar Binks is so hated throughout ‘Star Wars’ fandom that one enterprising fan did a re edit of ‘Star Wars: The Phantom Menace’ and removed all of Jar Jar Bink’s scenes from it. This edit actually made the entire film 18 minutes shorter and it was less painful to watch.
The second world war even had a plot to kill the nasty rodent.

Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher will reprise their roles in ‘The Force Awakens’, with cast newcomers including John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver and Lupita Nyongo’o.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens will hit cinemas on December 18.
