Synopsis: Parker gives Alan driving lessons at the Creighton-Ward estate in FAB0 while Lady Penelope has tea with her great Aunt Sylvia.

Review: Thunderbirds Are Go drives through a much light-hearted story this week in which Parker tries to teach an enthusiastic Alan how to drive in Fab0.

Meanwhile Lady Penelope is entertaining her Great Aunt Sylvia as played by Sylvia Anderson.

Things go rather pair shaped when two robbers are dumb enough to try and rob Creighton Manor, but don’t count on the tough resolve of Lady P or her Aunt who are virtually fearless in the face of having their worldly possessions taken from them. That said though the robbers in this story make the duo from the ‘Home Alone’ movies look like experts, which is where much of this stories humour comes from.

If that isn’t funny enough. You also have the great double act of Parker and Alan as they go through the fundamentals of driving, which includes how to open and close doors and the customary doffing of ones cap.

This episode was a bundle of fun and I loved the punchline regarding tea at the end. In which Sylvia tells Penelope about the Targeted Electro-Magnetic Actuator.  A rather clever device disguised as a teapot. It was also great to see that Fab0 looked to be very much inspired by the original Fab 1 from the classic Thunderbirds series.

This one made me happy. Sylvia Anderson was lovely, and the slow car chase was a hoot.
