Synopsis: During a joint operation between International Rescue and the Global Defence Force, a series of mishaps nearly ends in disaster. In the wake of the botched mission, Colonel Martin Janus takes over the GDF and orders International Rescue to cease all their operations.

Review: Things are not going well for International Rescue in this episode as a series of botched rescues brings their performance and relationship with the Global Defence Force into question.

Colonel Martin Janus has taken command of the GDF and has ordered International Rescue to run all rescues through him before they disembark. However when they get refused access to rescue sites the team at International Rescue launch an investigation on Janus, who Parker suspects is an imposter.

These suspicions prove correct and Janis is imprisoned.

This was a really strong episode, but the fact that we see two launches in the story kind of slowed things down a tad because you get the 5,4,3,2,1 twice in the space of a half hour, which kind of took me out of the moment.

The villain Janus was very convincing and the stories title played a very important role in exposing him.
