Synopsis: After a young woman is killed at a fashion show, Lucifer becomes intrigued with the danger. Meanwhile, Maze admits to Amenadiel that she wants to return to Hell.

Review: Picking up from last week. Lucifer seems to be excited by the fact that he can be physically hurt in the mortal world and to that end he gets involved with a case, which involves a few gangs and tries his level best to provoke fire fights at every given opportunity, which ticks Chloe off to no end.

Tom Ellis puts in his usual fantastic performance, but also given a chance to shine this week is Lesley-Ann Brandt in her regular role of Maze. A character who has been massively underused thus far. Seemingly Maze and Amenadiel are continuing to work together on the quiet in order to get Lucifer to return to hell. To that end Amenadiel has opened up a psychology practice in the same building as Linda and is trying to gain her confidence so he can get her to open up about her sessions with Lucifer.

Also in an interesting twist. It seems that Maze has some sort of plan for Chloe, which she is starting to put into action in the final scene of this episode.

All in all this was a bit of an improvement over last week, but I’d like to see much more done with Maze and Amenadiel in the weeks to come.
