Synopsis: In an effort to get over his infatuation with Chloe, Lucifer decides to seduce her. Meanwhile, Amenadiel confronts Maze about his concerns with regards to Lucifer.

Review: In this episode Chloe is assigned a case, which requires her to get into an exclusive club in order to suss out a potential suspect in a kidnapping, and in order to get access she has to rely on Lucifer and his connection to the club scene in LA.

The fun of this episode is Lucifer’s very direct attempts at trying to seduce Chloe. This starts with him breaking into her house in order to cook her breakfast, which is something that doesn’t end well for him. Lucifer thinks that if he can have sex with Chloe it will cure him of his infatuation.

In regards to the case that they are investigating. It proves to be as predictable if not more so than last week, but you can perhaps forgive that given the amount of comedy and mythology that gets revealed in this episode.

While Lucifer is out playing detective with Chloe Amenadiel pays Maze a visit in order to try and get her on side with regards to an intervention for Lucifer. This scene allows for a bit of immortal combat as Maze and the Angel go at it, but when Maze attempts a little bit of seduction Amenadiel is forced to back off and show his hand.

In order for this show to get better. We need to see more Maze and Amenadiel trying to wrest Lucifer from his infatuation and fascination with Chloe. An infatuation, which does actually have a cost as we find out by the close of this particular episode.

So a slightly better episode than last week, but we really need to see something more in the way of mythology and other supernatural beings than just Lucifer and Chloe, which is starting to wear a little thin.
