Synopsis: Anita is taken for testing, which yields a surprising revelation. Pete’s behavior drives Jill from the house, Hobb closes in on Niska and Mattie gets in touch with Leo.

Review: Most of this episode is pretty much set up for more revelations that will come later on down the road.

Joe and Laura find out that Anita is much older than they thought and in a week moment Joe literally does the robot funky chicken dance, which wasn’t really that exciting.

The big revelation comes after Leo’s meeting with Mattie when a strange bit of computer code shows up in the code that Mattie lifted from Anita’s CPU in last weeks episode.

Leo winds up paying George a visit who figures out the code, which turns out to be a algorithm that can help make all the other robots as self aware as Anita, Niska and Leo’s other two robot friends.

And while all this happens Hobb is closing in on Niska and getting closer and closer to figuring out the truth about the more self aware synths.

This episode has to be the weakest one i’ve seen thus far.

The opening three episodes had a lot packed into them whereas this one was pretty much attempting to set up a few new story strands that will naturally resolve over the remaining 5 episodes.

This show is Ang Lee’s Blade Runner. Good performances, but I’m not impressed otherwise.
