From Marvel Comics and the creative team of Dan Abnet (writer), Gereardo Sandoval (penciler) and Edgar Delgado (colorist), the second issue of Guardians 3000 entitled, ‘My Aim is True’ is an awesome continuation of the fabulous first issue.
What is really fun about this issue is the great story telling, which truth be told is always secondary for me as I am also an artist and comics have always been more visual than literary for me.
I initially picked up Guardians 3000 #1 especially because it is a first issue, and in all honesty, the art did not entirely tickle me, however after reading the issue, I loved the action and adventure and in truth Sandoval’s pencils have grown on me!
Plainly put, Guardians 3000 is fun, action packed and smart with future lingo that seems to make sense, along with a great story line, which features Vance Astro as the 1000 year old team leader of the futuristic Guardians of the Galaxy, who also happens to yield Captain America’s admantium shield.
This is turning into a great series which I highly recommend with amazing covers by Alex Ross!
