‘Humans’ Picked Up For Second Season

The drama, which is produced in partnership between AMC, Channel 4 and Kudos will get another eight episodes and will go into production next year.

Channel 4’s acclaimed sci-fi drama ‘Humans’ is to get a second season.

The drama, which is produced in partnership between AMC, Channel 4 and Kudos will get another eight episodes and will go into production next year.

“As one of the year’s top new cable series, Humans has been embraced by fans and critics across the U.S. and U.K.,” said Joel Stillerman, president of original programming and development for AMC. “We’re looking forward to continuing this very captivating story and further exploring the show’s parallel, Synth-filled world that hits so disturbingly close to home.”

Written by Sam Vincent and Jonathan Brackley, the series is based on a Swedish series, which was titled ‘Real Humans’.

The show explores advancing technology and artificial intelligence in terms of robot and android technology.
