One series that I am very much looking forward to this year is ‘Houdini & Doyle’, which takes creative license with the friendship of the two great iconic figures of magic and literature.

The series sees the paring working with Scotland Yard on crimes, which involve the improbable and supernatural.

Earlier this week at the TCA Winter Press Tour a brief 50 second trailer was unveiled, which shows off both the visual look and style of the series, which has both elements of Victorian mystery fused with alternative technology.

The series stars Michael Weston as master magician Houdini and British star Stephen Mangan as renowned Sherlock Holmes author Doyle.

The show is expected to premier sometime in the Spring on Fox.
