‘Game Of Thrones’ Wins Big At Creative Arts Emmys

'Game Of Thrones' Helps HBO Romp It Home At The Creative Emmys.

Even when not on the air with new episodes. ‘Game Of Thrones’ still manages to wipe out any and all opposition and has done so once again at the Creative Emmys.

The hit HBO series racked up eight awards at the Creative Arts Emmys, which were held over the weekend.

These awards included ‘Outstanding Casting For A Drama Series’ and ‘Outstanding Special Visual Effects.’

‘Game Of Thrones’ contributed to HBO being the largest network on the night with a total of 29 awards. ‘Bessie,’ starring Queen Latifah, won four, while scientology documentary ‘Going Clear’ picked up three and ‘The Jinx’ and ‘Olive Kitteridge’ won two apiece.

n the four acting categories for guest appearances, Bradley Whitford in ‘Transparent’ and Joan Cusack in ‘Shameless’ took home the comedy awards, as Reg E Cathey in ‘House of Cards’ and Margo Martindale in ‘The Americans’ triumphed in the drama categories.

Ahead of its fifth series, ‘American Horror Story’ nabbed itself five wins including ‘Outstanding Costumes for a Period/Fantasy,’ ‘Outstanding Hairstyling’ and two for ‘Outstanding Make Up.’
