Galactic Star Wars Celebration 2017 cosplay

Cosplay was alive and well at this years Star Wars Celebration in Orlando Florida!

Star Wars Celebration 2017 was held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando Florida, with fans coming from all over the world to celebrate all things Star Wars as well as to get their Star Wars Cosplay geek on. And the fans did not disappoint as they went all out to create some of the most creative, time consuming and amazing Star Wars related costumes.

As always, one of the most fun and cheerful cosplay to watch at conventions, just as was the case with SW Celebration 2017, was family cosplay which was most impressive and as they say, “The families that Cosplay together stay together!

Although not every Star Wars fan in attendance decided to have their cosplay follow a traditional Star Wars theme, with many cosplayers intermingling their genres for the weekend. As was the case with Jedi Mary Poppins, the Shakespearian Trooper, Elliot and Master Yoda and of course Wayne’s World Garth Vader.

As attendees continued walking around SW Celebration, the fun and love of Star Wars and all things SciFi just kept on giving as there were always great costumes literally around every corner. As was the case with an R-2 Gundam robot, as well as cutest Domestic Hoth Leia, not to mention the well equipped Twillik Quidditch player and of course, what SW Celebration would be complete without a Walking Dead Storm Trooper.

Likewise, some fans simply had to be the inner fan they really are, while still showing their love and support for Star Wars.

Attendees walking around the SW Celebration convention floor were also sure to came across Super Hero themed Star Wars cosplayers as well.

But to be sure, most of the cosplayers walking around the convention floor of this years SW Celebration were simply outstanding to look at and take photos of, with a few even reminding us to remember those Star Wars icons we lost this year.

And of course as in all years past, fans can always expect to see the 501st Star Wars Imperial Garrisons from all over the globe in attendance at Star Wars Celebration, with a special treat being the annual photo that all 501st members take together, as well as the 501st area with fun props, armor, helmets and displays. There were also tons of other amazing displays, groups and cosplayers at this years SW Celebration, which helped all who came to the convention have an amazing convention experience with plenty of the Force to go around!
