Fans get engaged at SW Celebration with Luke and Chewie

During photo opportunities with both Mark Hamill and Peter Mayhew, two potential bride grooms asked their sweethearts to marry them.

From April 13th through the 16th of this past weekend (2017), the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando Florida played host to the yearly Star Wars Celebration, in which thousands of fans gathered from across the globe and galaxy to honor all things Star Wars over the past forty years.

While most fans came together to share their love of Star Wars, two fans in particular came to Star Wars Celebration in order to fulfill their destiny and ask their significant others to marry them in order to become one with each other in the eyes of the Force.

Interestingly, both hopeful bride grooms decided to pop the biggest questions of their lives in front of two of Star Wars most legendary personalities, Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) and Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca).

In both instances, the brides to be stood patiently on line with their boyfriends for what they thought would be just another convention photo opportunity. Slowly but surely however, both couples at different times made their way in front of their favorite Star Wars celebrities, when un-expectedly the grooms got down on their knees to the surprise of not just their beloved girlfriends, but also to the surprise of both Hamill and Mayhew.

Both guys proposed to their favorite gals with both lovely ladies saying yes to the applause of the Star Wars celebrity they were taking their photo with. Congratulations to both lucky couples and May the Force be with all four of you!
