It saddens me somewhat to hear of the delay for the European release of Telltale Games fantastic adventure series ‘The Walking Dead’ for Playstation 4 and XBox 1 owners.

The game series, which is based on the popular television series that has been adapted from Robert Kirkmans top selling ongoing comic has enjoyed great success worldwide on PC, PS3 and XBox 360. So fans that moved onto the next gen consoles are obviously anxious to get back into the game, but on their shiny new next gen games machine.

Originally scheduled to launch on Friday, October 24, both Season One and Season Two, as well as Season One add-on ‘400 Days’, will now release on October 31.

The new games are already out in the US and Telltale have not given any reason for the delay of the European versions.
Telltale co-founder Kevin Bruner said that the games are now available on more than 6,000 devices.

“Now available on over 6,000 devices from console to mobile, the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 formats usher in an even greater reach for Telltale, and we’re excited to be preparing players across the world for a thrilling third season that’s yet to come.”

Telltale recently confirmed that The Walking Dead will return for a third season.

Plot details, returning characters, platform information and launch dates have yet to be confirmed.

So virtual walker slayers. It looks like we here in the UK have to satiate are zombie slaying blood lust via other means. At least until October 31.
