Hot on the heels of James Marsden’s casting in ‘Westworld’ is the casting of Ed Harris.
The Four time Oscar-nominee will play the Man In Black, who is described as the distillation of pure villainy into one man.
It’s fun to point out that the gunslinger in the original movie ‘Westworld’ that was played by the late great Yul Brynner wore all black and may well have been refereed to at the time as the man in black by fans of the movie.
Inspired by Michael Crichton’s 1973 movie of the same name, Westworld revolves around a futuristic theme park where robots go berserk and attack the guests.
Given the level of casting that has been happening on this new television project. I’m more than a little curious to see what HBO cook up.
The original ‘Westworld’ movie spawned a movie sequel and a failed television series and always seemed to be a premise, which never really managed to live up to its potential of being a movie and television franchise.
