Yesterday DC Comics released a preview of the new costumes that ‘Wonder Woman’ and ‘Superman’ will be wearing in issues that will be released in June.

These new costumes for the characters are to coincide with a new era for the two comics, which is pretty funny given that a new era kind of started in 2011 with the massive 52 reboot, which goes to show that comic books change eras more often than SupermanBloodySuperman used to change his underpants, which he used to rather stupidly wear over his tights.

Artist Aaron Kuder’s cover for ‘Action Comics’ #41 was premiered yesterday via the Nerdist.

The new costume for ‘Superman’ is described as a clean look, a throwback to the outfit Clark sported in Grant Morrison/Rags Morales’ run on the title in 2012. Added to the new costume is the fact that ‘Superman’s’ fists are wrapped and bloodied, indicating that perhaps his current 24-hour frame of powerlessness and vulnerability isn’t quite that short.

Paolo Siqueria’s cover for ‘Superman/Wonder Woman’ #18, revealed on Uproxx, also show’s Superman’s new look, while debuting a new uniform for Wonder Woman that appears to be a significant departure from her classic costume.

Hitfix have David Finch’s debut of Wonder Woman’s costume in full, which we have included below.

I don’t care for either look. Oh well. They’ll change again soon enough.
