‘Dark Matter’ & ‘Killjoys’ Get Second Series

Syfy have chose to renew both their Friday night series ‘Killjoys’ and ‘Dark Matter’ for second series.

Hannah John-Kamen, Luke Macfarlane and Aaron Ashmore star in ‘Killjoys,’ which has been a lot of fun. The show was created by ‘Lost Girl’ creator Michelle Lovretta who teamed with writer/producer  David Fortier. The series focuses on a small team of Bounty Hunters who have to remain impartial as the chase deadly criminals through the quadrant.

‘Dark Matter’ is the creation of Stargate writers Joseph Mallozzi and Paul Mullie and is based on a successful comic book mini series that they penned with a view to taking it to television. The series, which airs its season one finale next week on Syfy in the UK stars Melissa O’Neil, Marc Bendavid, Anthony Lemke, Alex Mallari Jr. and Jodelle Ferland with Roger Cross and Zoie Palmer.
