Earlier news broke that ‘Daredevil’ would be returning for a third season on Netflix.

Executive producer Jeph Loeb announced the news during the Comic-Con panel for another show – ‘Marvel’s Luke Cage’. Talk about stealing thunder…

A brief 28 second teaser was also shown to the audience. Which has been released on the shows Twitter Feed.

Loeb simply told the audience in San Diego: “If you like Daredevil, there’s going to be even more in season three.”

Season three is expected to return in 2017 alongside current showrunners Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez.

Of course we here at SciFiPulse are really excited about this. Particularly in terms of finding out what happened to Electra.

Luke Cage

Although the news about ‘Daredevil’ was broke during the ‘Luke Cage’ Panel. It didn’t stop Loeb from showing fans the new teaser for ‘Luke Cage’, which is pretty freaking relentless.

For those that do not know. Luke Cage, which is kind of a spin off from ‘Jessica Jones’ centres sees the indestructible Cage doing battle with criminals in order to try and retain the soul of Harlem.

Standing in his way are New York City political boss Mariah Dillard (Alfre Woodard) and her cousin Cottonmouth Stokes (Mahershala Ali), a dangerous nightclub owner.

The Marvel Universe on Netflix is beginning to shape up really well with Jessica Jones getting a second season and the pending premier of Luke Cage. It seems that Netflix is the place to be for urban super heroics.
