Could We Be Seeing A Force Ghost Of Yoda In ‘Star Wars 8’

Could the Jedi Master be joining Han, Luke, Leia and Chewbacca as the latest original character to return to the galaxy far, far away?

Speculation was rife late last week when a report was released that Frank Oz the voice of Yoda was paying a visit to the UK’s Pinewood Studios.

Could the Jedi Master be joining Han, Luke, Leia and Chewbacca as the latest original character to return to the galaxy far, far away?

Of course Yoda died in ‘Star Wars: Return Of The Jedi’, but his force ghost is still active. In ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Yoda was heard during Rays vision, but he was never seen.

Could we have further Yoda flashbacks or visions to look forward to? Or might he appear in the present? The Force Awakens didn’t feature any Force ghosts, but they do have a tendency to pop up. Added to which with Luke Skywalker being a bigger player in the 8th film. An appearance by the force ghost of Yoda to counsel the troubled Jedi would make sense.

Shooting is already under way for Star Wars Episode 8, which will be released on December 15, 2017.
