News has been revealed that fans could possibly be seeing a ‘Charmed’ reboot.
The series, which centred on three witches was a huge hit in the 1990’s and starred Shannen Doherty (later replaced by Rose McGowan), Holly Marie Combs and Alyssa Milano as the three Halliwell sisters, who were all extremely gifted witches.
Although a ‘Charmed’ reboot was initially announced back in 2013. It looks like CBS are planning to reboot the show with the original cast members.
Holly Marie Combs (who played Piper in the show) reckons there’s a possibility that the three witches will be back in some way.
Talking to Us Weekly, she said: “People keep talking about it. CBS has the rights to it.
“I heard they tried to do a pilot a few years back. I know all the girls would like to do it, too.”
The original series debuted in 1998 and ran for a fairly impressive 8 seasons. The show had the distinction of being the final successful television series to be produced by legendary producer and ‘Charlies Angels’ creator Aaron Spelling, who passed away in 2006 during the shows final season.
