Character descriptions revealed for ‘Walking Dead’ spin-off series

The site reports that we will be seeing six principal characters, which include a single mum and a wilted flower child.

New details were revealed over weekend with regard to the AMC spin-off series for ‘The Walking Dead’.

TV Line posted a series of brief character breaks downs for the key roles in the new as yet unnamed spin-off series for AMC’s mega hit.

The site reports that we will be seeing six principal characters, which include a single mum and a wilted flower child.

Sean Cabrera is described as a Latino male in his early 40s, who tries to please everyone.

He is joined by son Cody, who has a reputation in his town of being angry and rebellious.

Nancy Tompkins is a single mother of two, and while she looks innocent she also has an edge.

Nancy’s “screwed-up” teenage son Nick is too afraid to flee from his mother, but daughter Ashley thinks it’s time for her to leave home.

The character line up is rounded out with Andrea Chapman, a “wilted flower child” in her 40s, who finds herself in the outskirts of the city to recover from a horrible marriage.

Thus far the series has been given a thumbs up for a pilot episode, but not for a full series at this time. AMC have said that the pilot episode will shed some light on unseen events of the zombie apocalypse.

‘The Walking Dead’ season five begins on Sunday, October 12 at 9pm ET on AMC in the US, and on Monday, October 13 at 9pm on FOX in the UK.
