'Boardwalk Empire' star Jack Huston has secured himself the lead role in the much discussed reboot of 'The Crow'.

‘Boardwalk Empire’ star Jack Huston has secured himself the lead role in the much discussed reboot of ‘The Crow’.

James O’Barr – who created the original comic book revealed the news yesterday.

The cartoonist told Dread Central that he was “really happy with that choice”.

The protagonist Eric – who rose from the dead to avenge the death of his lover – was famously played by Brandon Lee in the 1994 film.

Huston takes the role over from Luke Evens, who confirmed that he was quitting the part last month.

Corin Hardy will direct ‘The Crow,’ which is currently scheduled to shoot in the spring.
