‘Big Bang Theory’ Getting A Lego Set

'The Big Bang Theory' is to be immortalized in its own Lego Set.

‘The Big Bang Theory’ is to be immortalized in its own Lego Set.

Pretty soon you will get to enjoy Sheldon, Leonard and the gang given the Lego make over in a new set, which will reproduce Sheldon and Leonard’s living room. The set will also include figurines of series regulars such as Penny, Raj, Howard, Bernadette and Amy.

The set will include a lot of items found in Sheldon and Leonard’s living room, including their Rubik’s cube tissue box, the Green Lantern lantern, Sheldon’s board and the Lego Death Star.

The Big Bang Theory Lego set proposal was submitted by Alatariel and GlenBricker as part of the Lego Ideas scheme. After receiving 10,000 votes, the concept was accepted.

“Alatariel and I (GlenBricker) are not only deeply honoured that LEGO has made this decision, but also excited and proud to be some small part of a show that we both love,” reads a post by GlenBricker.

“This proposal has been an amazing ride right from the moment it was posted to Ideas, and with reaching 10,000 in less than a month, was once of the fastest projects to reach that goal.”

Production and launch dates will be announced in the future.

I have to wonder if we’ll ever get to see a Big Bang Theory Lego Video Game of some kind to follow this up.
