BBC have revealed a new video game titled ‘The Doctor And The Dalek’.

The game has been developed for kids that watch and interact with their CBBC channel and the CBBC Website.

The Doctor and the Dalek will be a standalone story featuring the Twelfth Doctor, written by Phil Ford.

Peter Capaldi will voice the Doctor in the game, which has been released as part of the BBC’s Make it Digital initiative, aimed to inspire young audiences to be creative with coding, digital technology and programming.

The game has just launched and is available now for all to enjoy.

The Doctor and the Dalek follows the Doctor after he frees a damaged Dalek from a group of Cybermen, before teaming up for a mission to save the universe from destruction.

Danny Cohen, BBC Director of Television, said: “The Doctor and the Dalek is a brand-new Doctor Who story and a fantastic game, voiced by the wonderful Peter Capaldi.

“It’s an excellent example of how a hugely popular BBC show can give fans something extra, whilst also introducing wider audiences to increasingly important skills, such as coding and programming.”
