Batman visits YMCA and Cub Scouts

Batman made his way all the way from Gotham city, to Orlando Florida, after his Batman Inc., communications officer, Thomas Blasco, coordinated a visit for the YMCA and Cub Scouts at Wyndham Lakes Elementary School.

On Wednesday, February 11th, 2015, the Dark Knight took time out of his crime fighting schedule and dedicated it to visiting and inspiring two very special groups of young people; the YMCA and the Cub Scouts of Pack 632. By late Wednesday afternoon, Batman had made his way all the way from Gotham city, to Orlando Florida, after his Batman Inc., communications officer, Thomas Blasco, coordinated a visit with the YMCA afterschool program at Wyndham Lakes Elementary.

Batman took the time to make sure that each and every child in the Wyndham Lakes YMCA Aftercare Program, which is coordinated by Miss Cynthia, had a chance to meet him, and get a photo as well as an autograph. And after hanging out with the Caped Crusader, it was obvious for all to see, that the kids of the YMCA had been given a gift they would not be able to stop talking about for a long time to come.

Afterwards, Batman bid farewell to the YMCA’s super excited kids, only to return later that evening in order to visit with the boys of Cub Scout Pack 632, who also happen to use the Wyndham Lakes Elementary School for their Wednesday evening Scout meetings. What was most important to Batman and his Batman Inc., Representative, Thomas Blasco, was ensuring that not only Pack 632 in general, but also the Weblos II Scouts specifically were thanked and rewarded for their dedication and hard work. Batman’s visit was especially important to the older Scouts of Pack 632, the Weblos II, as they would be moving on and crossing over from Cub Scout to Boy Scout shortly thereafter, with this visit by one of the most beloved Super Heroes of all time, being one of their very last Scout meetings with Pack 632. So yet again Batman made all five groups of the Cub Scouts; Tigers, Wolves, Bears, Weblos I and Weblos II, as well as all of the Pack’s leaders, along with each of the parents and siblings of Pack 632, wide eyed with awe and inspiration.

Not only did Batman take the time to meet with each of the boys and their families, but he also posed for photos with everyone assembled, while also spreading his Bat-wings wide for group photos with each of the five Scout groups of Pack 632. All in all Batman showed our community’s future leaders that giving of oneself is not only a worthy endeavor, but with the right kind of intention, action and example, this kind of selfless and kind act can help to make a big difference in the lives of all of those around us with whom we share our community, homes and lives with every day!

While all of the Wyndham Lakes Elementary kids of both the YMCA and Scouts of Pack 632 are the true focus and inspiration of this story, Sci Fi Pulse wants to recognize the extraordinary and real-life heroic spirit and ongoing selfless contributions of both Batman and his Batman Inc., communication officer, Thomas Blasco. The children’s hearts and minds were greatly influenced and inspired with each smile, and photo graciously posed for, along with all of the Batman’s inspiring comments!

Job well done Batman and keep up the GREAT work!!!
