‘Back To The Future’ Monopoly Announced

The game is part of the 30th anniversary celebrations for the popular film series.

In recent years we have seen many themed versions of Monopoly. In fact I am the proud owner of ‘Star Wars’ Monopoly, but one movie, which is also loved by genre fans has not had a version of the popular game. Until now.

A new ‘Back To The Future’ version of Monopoly has been commissioned and cooler still is the fact that many of the properties that players can buy on the board are locations set in Hill Valley, which is the town in which the movies are set. I wonder if players can buy the clock tower, which is central feature throughout all three movies.

The game is part of the 30th anniversary celebrations for the popular film series.

It was hoped the board game would have been released in 2014 ready for the 30th anniversary year, but delays put it back.

The game will be released in US stores in May priced at $39.99, while a UK release date and price have yet to be confirmed.
