‘Agents Of Shield’ Season Four To Be Darker & Sexier

The fourth series of ‘Agents Of Shield’ is likely to be airing in a later slot when the series returns to ABC in the Autumn.

The new series will be airing at the later time of 10/9c – with the network’s president suggesting it could go “darker” and “edgier”.

“I think it’s great,” said Elizabeth Henstridge, who plays Simmons, at a panel at MCM London Comic Con.

“I think we’ve got progressively darker each season and it’s great to be able to push those boundaries a little bit.

“I think the writers are excited, because they’ll be able to maybe get a little bit sexy… throw in some good swearing!”
Though one question on the mind of many fans is whether or not we’ll see a return for Mocking Bird and Hunter. Who departed the series in order to do the now abandoned spin-off series ‘Marvels Most Wanted’. When asked Nick Blood who plays Hunter could not comment.

“If I did know anything… I couldn’t tell you!” he quipped.

Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD will return to ABC this fall and airs on Sundays at 9pm on E4.
